Prompts & inspirations

Since I started 2019 with the thought of doing 300 posts this year , I realized that spontaneous writing ideas and poems only work for about 10 percent times. Finding ideas to write daily is a bigger challenge than actually writing about them. So I started looking for prompts and blogs that host these writing parties sort ! I even asked some of the old friends from blogosphere and most of them asked me to share the list if and when I have one.

So here is my find so far ( in order of the days of the week ) –

Sunday Photo fiction – flash fiction in less than 200 words

Poetics tuesday – promote for poetry. (This site has almost 2-3 prompts or gathering of poets.)

Colleen’s Tanka Tuesday poetry challenge – prompts for poetry forms using syllable count

Wednesday Verses – prompts for poetry

Nurturing Thursdays – Reflections or posts on self love & accepting love

Reena’s exploration challenge – any format post accepted on the given prompt

Friday reflections – Prompts for posts that are to be your reflections on the same

Friday fictioners – fiction in less than 100 words

****

Please feel free to suggest more such prompts and I will update this post. I will add this post to the sidebar too shortly so you can access it anytime.

Happy writing to you all.

challenge#1 Months of the year challenge

December is the mark of year end. 11 months gone. Sorrows, joys, smiles, tears, pain, success – you lived it all. Before these 11 months, you lived a lot many similar months.

Tell us about the special months. The challenge is to write about each month – all 12 of them in 12 different posts – either of this year, or of the past, or the future month you are awaiting for some reason – any thing, any form. The challenge lasts through out the month of December – Dec 1,2010 6:00 AM IST to Dec 31,2010 6:00 PM IST.

Hope to see you writing and sharing your memories and dreams with me.
