Rains

A drop of love,
lands on my face
and I feel like it rained;
A silent hug,
marks every day we meet
and I wish there were rains.
A passionate kiss
opens my soul to you
and I know “I” would rain.

It's not the dramas or the stories, but actually the people touched by them who taught me how to appreciate these stories, the different medium of expressions, and how to believe that even fictional characters can give hope and smile to so many people around the world. A reader first and obsessive reviewer of things I love, I write when I am deeply touched by a story or a moment. You can find most of my ideas and thoughts first expressed on Twitter - @i_read_write

  1. Are you equating rain with good here?
    A little difficult to take on board at the moment as we have had twice 40 days of it just now.
    Love the concetp and the way you have distilled it.

  2. The juxtaposition between rain and love is one I have not come across many times before. It works extremely well and I love the sensuality in your poem! 😀

  3. This is lovely. I’ve missed seeing you. I’ve been on-again off-again blogging for awhile. I hope I’m back on course. Look forward to more from you. Thanks for your visit today.

    Warmest regards,
    Jamie
