Dream chase

Into those dreams i fall
its a new one each day
each with fluid walls,
Into those dreams i fall.
Responding to unheard call,
towards darkness i make way,
Into those dreams i fall
its a new one each day.

Each dream though has you
hidden behind the dark veil,
not willing to see.but i do
since each dream has you.
you change faces,and voice too
can this hide your heart’s trail ?
Each dream of mine has you
hidden behind the dark veil.

One day,you know i will be there
in the darkness where you stand,
nothing you create gives me a scare
One day,you know i will be there
from my rage, you won’t be spared
your end i promise will be grand.
One day,you know i will be there
in the darkness where you stand.

This is mt first time at the Thursday Poet’s Rally . Attempted a triolet triplet.

  2. You wrote this one after my own heart…mystery and love combined in a mastery of phrases!! Loved it so my dearest friend. Sending you love and happy rally πŸ™‚ xxx

  3. What a neat spiritual poem you’ve created here, Lady Nimue!
A little spooky, a bit prophetic, and a lot of falling for love’s sake.

    Good work! Peace πŸ™‚ UT

  4. While I was reading this, I felt like you were following a specific form (like a Villanelle, but not that). Probably the repetition make it seem that way. If it is, could you tell me which one?

  5. living in the world of dreams and all their sweetness and thrill; now isn’t THAT why we awake each day?

  6. I am so glad you are part of the Rally and your attempt at a Triolet is stunning!
