She felt

Drop by drop she let it wash her pain,
The lukewarm water over her bruises,
The sting far sweeter than the words,
Drop by drop they fell ..

Word by word they pulled at her skin,
The tangled path of claiming hold
The nakedness far bearable than told,
Word by word she felt..

Tear by tear she let it all escape
The noises of protest in head,
The silence around louder than else,
Tear by tear she felt and fell tonight.

(This is inspired by and dedicated to a lady whose blog and tweets have off latte brought writing back to me like a new found love ! Thank you ! )

  1. “…tear-by-tear…” oh, I can feel that–so…….

Blessings to the ‘lady’ whose tweets and blog posts, brought you back here.
I don’t guess we’ve met, but that’s OK. Blogging is about meaning, not meeting–or is it the other way ’round?

SEE? THIS is why I cannot write–grin!
    PEACE!
