your lips on my head ~
bond of love i wanted ~
bond of care i cherish
Pages will turn tonight
your memories will burn in peace
I forgive the hurt
the flowers bought
but delivered not
still smell of her
Brilliance of dreams
shine in her sleepy eyes today;
she was in his arms

Brilliance of dreams ~~~ Love this!
Heart breaking and so real feeling… I picture a whole world of circumstances which the simple patter of words have painted in m head. love and hugs xx
So beautiful, especially the end.
nice…the lips on the head is a tender moment…and you end on one too in his arms….but the way it reads it is a third person which is a bit scary/sad….def a page turner…smiles.
Awwww….

Sad, but lovely.
This poem makes me smile–the moment of despair, then forgiveness, the flowers.
“Pages will turn tonight” … Wow. That is a strong line. Out of context, it could mean so many things, depending on the tone. This, in fact, could be a prompt for a stanzaic poem exploring the different emotions of “page-turning.”
